Are you sitting comfortably?

Then we’ll begin… or, rather, Gavin Young will.  At Thimblemill Library’s newest club – The Live Book Club!
Young regulars to Thimblemill Library may know Gavin as Bearwood’s wonderful storyteller.  He reads every Tuesday to IMG_20151016_025707preschoolers but now he’s offering something for adults who have impaired vision or, for any other reason, struggle to pick up a book.  He’s going to be reading novels aloud; Bearwood now has its very own live audio book reader!
The Live Book Club starts on Tuesday 16th February, 2.30pm-4pm each week.  Gavin will read a chapter a week. It’s primarily aimed at people with impaired vision, but it’s also open to all who are interested in books and storytelling.
The club will be hosted by Dan Letchford with Gavin reading.  Gavin says:
The first two and perhaps three sessions will be run as taster sessions – wherein I will read short stories – and to talk with the people who come along about what they would like to have read to them and also for us all to come with a fair and fun way of choosing which novel will be read next.
No need to ‘book’ (ha ha), just go along on the 16th and see what it’s like.  Any questions? Call Dan on 07960438155
