We are Bearwood is a group of like minded individuals working together for the better of the community.

  • To positively improve the area in which we live
  • To promote Bearwood and its businesses to a wider audience
  • To strengthen community groups
  • To represent views of residents to local government
  • To support local charities and trusts
  • To be inclusive

We are Bearwood is putting the building blocks in place to form a sustainable non-for-profit organisation that supports the community and its residents long term.

  • To encourage ‘champions’ from the local community to come forward with their project ideas so they can benefit from our support
  • To widen our skills as an organisation to diversify the range of projects we are able to support
  • To maintain a cohesive digital presence for Bearwood via this website and social media channels
  • To engage in activity that increases footfall and trade on Bearwood’s High Street.
  • To attain charity status in order to benefit from the tax and gift aid benefits, as well as the wider range of funding available
  • To become sustainable
